CornWall featured in Bouwwereld Magazine

In the 02/2025 issue of Bouwwereld, FRONT is spotlighted for its innovative building material: CornWall. This climate-positive wall panel is made from leftover corncobs—an abundant agricultural waste stream.

Developed in collaboration with Circular Matters in Antwerp, CornWall is created through a low-energy, electric compression process powered by solar energy. The result is a lightweight, Red List Free material available in eight colours, suitable as a sustainable alternative to ceramic tiles and composite panels.

The article highlights FRONT’s transformation from pioneering brick makers to a broader platform for high-end, biobased materials. With a growing network of 15,000 architects worldwide, FRONT aims to lead the way in sustainable and aesthetic solutions for the built environment—from facades to floors and everything in between.
